This buckle is inspired by a Norse epic that describes a powerful wolf - son of the god Loki - imprisoned by the gods. But when Ragnarök, the end of the world, arrives, Fenrir breaks free, fights Odin and devours him. This time the wolf is depicted using Norse runes.
The buckle is cast in solid brass. After casting, each piece is hand-finished, patinated and re-polished to bring out the details.
Included is a brass frame in two sizes (38mm and 45mm) for easy attachment to the belt.
