Saxon business tent, 4 × 6 m, 100% cotton, natural colour, 425 g/m²

This sturdy and spacious Saxon business tent offers enough space for 3 people together with their equipment. It is ideal for merchants, traders, street performers or cooks who need space to sell goods, store possessions and provide shelter for their family or helpers.

With an internal height of approximately 3 m, it allows even tall people to stand comfortably. The long side wall can be fully opened and converted into an awning, providing protection from the sun and rain while allowing customers an unobstructed view of the merchandise. Setting up the tent is easy - just 2 to 3 people and a few simple steps.

The 425 g/m² canvas is extremely strong and treated against mould and fungi. All accessories are included, i.e. tent pegs, cotton ropes with turnbuckles. The foldable iron poles allow compact transport, even in smaller vehicles.

We would like to point out that our tents are made entirely of cotton and sewn by hand. The dimensions and weights quoted may vary by up to 10%.

In order to keep your tent or shelter waterproof, we recommend regular waterproofing, such as spraying with PLUVONIN.

Important information about setting up, handling and maintenance of vintage tents:

The loop and loop system makes erecting the tent quick and easy. The length of the poles can be adjusted as required.

Important instructions for erecting the tent:

  • When erecting the tent, make sure that the ropes follow the seam lines exactly and that the pegs are correctly aligned with the lower corners or loops of the tent.
  • Do not overtighten the tension ropes - natural materials such as wood and cotton shrink and stretch due to moisture, which can lead to roof deformation and water ingress.
  • We recommend loosening the ropes slightly in the evening as the humidity rises at night, increasing the pressure on the tent.
  • Also, loosen the ropes in rain or high humidity to allow the tent to adjust to the conditions.

Protection against mould and moisture:

  • When building side walls, start at the entrance.
  • If the tent does not have a floor, it is advisable to leave the side walls slightly off the ground to prevent moisture and mold.
  • Always allow the tent to dry thoroughly after rain or dampness, otherwise it may become mouldy.
  • Never wrap wooden poles in plastic - it is ideal to store them in a cotton cloth once dry.
  • Never use cleaning products or detergents - use a brush to remove dried on dirt.
  • For long-term storage, separate accessories (pegs, ropes, etc.) from the tent and store everything separately.
  • Make sure all parts of the tent are dry and stored in a dry environment.
