Spitfire magnet

This Spitfire-themed magnet is made of lead-free pewter and has a magnet attached to the back. It is mounted on an information card which has a picture of two Spitfires on the front and information about the Spitfire during World War II on the back.

The Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter aircraft that was used by the Royal Air Force and many other Allied countries before, during and after World War II.

It was the most famous aircraft of World War II due to its groundbreaking design and outstanding technical features. These gave the British a decisive advantage in the fight against the Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain in 1940, as well as later in the defence of Malta and during the D-Day invasion in 1944.
