This Spitfire-shaped pencil sharpener is made of metal with an antique bronze finish. The Spitfire stands on a retractable chassis and the sharpener is positioned at the bottom. The dimensions are 11 × 12 cm.

The Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter aircraft that was used by the Royal Air Force and many other Allied countries before, during and after World War II.

It was the most famous aircraft of World War II due to its groundbreaking design and outstanding technical features. These gave the British a decisive advantage in the fight against the Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain in 1940, as well as later in the defence of Malta and during the D-Day invasion in 1944.
