Brass buckle "Valkyrie"
Valkyrie - in Norse mythology, a female warrior, celestial being and servant of Odin. Her mission was to select the bravest fallen warriors and escort them to Valhalla. Originally, valkyries were depicted as mysterious shadows hovering over the battlefield. However, later legends gave them a more human form - beautiful maidens with winged helmets, swords of light and white noble horses.

The buckle is made of brass by casting. After casting, it is hand-finished and patinated. The buckle is supplied with a brass frame for later attachment to the belt.
