Forged fork from the Viking Age
This medieval fork is inspired by historical models from the Viking era and is entirely hand forged from a single piece of iron.
The Viking fork features a beautiful spiral decoration in the handle area, while the end of the fork is artistically forged into a hand-forged ring.
The fork's heavily curved tines allow for easy scooping and turning of roasted food with just a small movement - perfect for everyday camp life in LARP, Viking or medieval reenactment settings. But it's also a stylish accessory for any barbecue lover in the home garden.
Wrought iron barbecue tools were used as far back as the Celts and Romans, and later by the Germanic and Vikings, who used them to conveniently remove meat from the cauldron or turn it on the grill.
- Dimensions of the Viking fork: 30 x 6,5 x 3,5 cm.
Certification is required by legislation for use with food. Therefore, we offer this forged fork as a prop, which by definition is not certified for contact with food.
