Viking comb inspired by original finds from the Viking Age. This handmade horn comb is faithfully based on early medieval designs. Combs are among the oldest tools known to mankind. In the Middle Ages, they were not only used to groom hair, but also to prepare wool and other natural fibres for spinning or felting.
The comb is reinforced on the upper spine, yet the delicate bone material must be handled with care. Like the historical originals, this comb was not only a common hygiene tool, but also a personal and often valuable item that Vikings carried in a pouch at their belt.
