Replica of Viking sword type D
This replica of a Viking sword type D has a hilt of cast bronze with numerous details. The blade is forged from tempered spring steel with a high carbon content (EN45). The blade is attached to the hilt in the traditional way - by fixing to the base of a two-piece apple. After the blade is secured, the apple is finished by riveting its upper part. The handle is made of hardwood and wrapped with quality leather.
The sword comes with a wooden scabbard covered with tightly stitched leather, which is decorated with a bronze Viking knot decoration and a bronze hanging eye.
