Falcon Belt Buckle
A belt buckle featuring a hunting falcon, whose stylized outline resembles a trident. The falcon has been considered a sacred bird in many cultures since the days of ancient Egypt.
The falcon was also an important symbol and totem bird of the ancient Ukrainians. According to legend, one of the world’s first rulers— Rod —could transform himself into a falcon and influence the fates of both gods and humans.
The buckle is cast from brass, and each piece is hand-finished after casting. The surface is then treated with a patina and polished again to highlight the details of the relief.
The buckle includes a brass frame for attaching it to a belt. Two sizes are available:
