The hero of the book - Borek - travels through time, wanders through Slavic lands and meets various Gods. He rides the black horse of Triglav, is carried by the singing of Bojan, flees from the huge boar of Radogost, meets werewolves, Rodzanice, the Forest Spirit. He searches for the golden statue of Triglav, which the Slavic reapers have hidden in the hollow of a tree.

The book is educational, popular, but also adventurous. It is written in a fantasy style, but without using elements outside Slavic mythology.
