The first replica of the Celtic Hedgehog, whose design perfectly reflects the artistic excellence of the La Tène period. The original artifact was discovered in Bohemia.
La Tène art represents the pinnacle of Celtic artistic achievement during the Iron Age. It takes its name from the archaeological site of La Tène in Switzerland and flourished from approximately the 5th to the 1st century BC. Characteristic features include flowing curves, spirals, palmettes, plant ornaments, and stylized animal motifs, creating dynamic and harmonious compositions. Celtic craftsmen decorated jewelry, weapons, belt fittings, and ritual objects in this distinctive style. These motifs often carried symbolic meanings associated with nature.
