A replica of Viking shoes inspired by a find from the 9th-10th century trade centre of Hedeby (Haitabu). This type of shoe was worn not only by warriors, but also by craftsmen and traders who travelled throughout northern Europe. The leather used is a thick, three-grain cowhide, dyed black. Each pair is based on historical foundations, but also brings modern comfort.
The boots have a typical three leather strap fastening with deer antler buttons. The molded leather insole and rubber outsole with a lug sole provide strength, grip and moisture resistance. Suitable for historical events, reenactment and as stylish footwear with a touch of ancient Scandinavia.
