Farkle is a game for anyone who wants to test their luck, nerves, and a touch of daring. Perfect for long evenings with friends when you want to prove that risk sometimes brings sweet rewards – and other times just a slap from Lady Luck.

At the start of your turn, take six dice, close your eyes, and roll. From the result, pick the dice that score points and set them aside. Then you have two options: settle and record your points, or risk another roll – with the chance of losing everything.

If you manage to set aside all six dice, you may roll again with the full set – called “hot dice”. But a roll without points ends your turn with zero.

Scoring:

  • Each one = 100 points
  • Each five = 50 points

Three of a kind:

  • Three ones = 1,000 points
  • Three twos = 200 points
  • Three threes = 300 points
  • Three fours = 400 points
  • Three fives = 500 points
  • Three sixes = 600 points

More of the same doubles the value: four threes = 600 points, five threes = 1,200, six threes = 2,400.

Special combinations:

  • Straight 1–6 = 1,500 points
  • Straight 1–5 = 500 points
  • Straight 2–6 = 750 points

The goal is agreed in advance – usually 2,000 to 5,000 points. The first player to reach it wins.
