The Premyslid Eagle is the family emblem of the Premyslids. It also served as the state emblem. This flaming eagle is sometimes called the St. Wenceslas Eagle and the Premyslid Eagle.
The emblem consists of a right-looking eagle placed on a silver shield. According to the Dalimil Chronicle, the flame eagle was acquired by Prince Břetislav I (who ruled Bohemia from 1034 to 1055).
