Medieval shield made according to period finds and illuminations. The shield is constructed to be durable and to meet strict standards appreciated by those engaged in Living History.
This shield shape was among the types used in the period 1250 – c. 1310, and secondarily continued to be used as an older type during the first half of the 14th century.
Size: 60 × 60 cm. Made of birch plywood, total thickness 10 mm. Covered with canvas and edged with rawhide. Includes handle.
