Five-leaved Rose as a symbol of the Lords of Rosenberg. The Rožmberks were an old Czech noble family, one of the families of the Vítkovec family, who built up the strong Rožmberk dominion by the 14th century. According to legend, the forefather of the Vítkov family - Vítek I of Prčice - was supposed to divide 5 roses among his sons under the castle in Český Krumlov.
