Éowyn, niece of King Théoden and sister of Éomer, was a proud shield bearer of Rohan. When the Rohan army went to Gondor to face the forces of Mordor, she begged her uncle to take her with him. After his refusal, she disguised herself as a warrior and secretly joined the army under the name of Dernhelm.
On the fields of Pelennor, she confronted the Witch-king of Angmar after he mortally wounded Théoden. When he declared that no man could kill him, she revealed her true identity and, with the help of Meriadoc Brandybuck, defeated him.
This authentically crafted collectible is an officially licensed replica of the sword Éowyn uses in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. United Cutlery has reproduced the original prop with the utmost precision and quality of workmanship.
This nearly meter long sword is meticulously designed from tip to pommel. The hardened blade with a length of approximately 76,5 cm is made of 420 J2 stainless steel. A wide fuller runs along three-quarters of the blade, reducing weight while maintaining strength.
The handle is decorated with Rohan horse motifs, the guard and pommel are made of solid metal with patinated brass finish and the grip is covered with genuine leather.
