This Viking leather necklace is finished with decorative end caps shaped like weasel heads, inspired by original jewelry from the Viking Age. The two heads are connected by a small omega hook that fits into the animal’s mouth and serves as the clasp.
End pieces featuring animal heads are not a modern invention—similar elements are well known from archaeological finds in the Viking cultural sphere, where they adorned necklaces and bracelets.
The necklace consists of a smooth, round leather cord in an antique brown color, complemented by bronze-colored end pieces. The leather cord is 3 mm in diameter, 45 cm long, and fits comfortably around the neck.
The clasp is simple to use—just gently bend the omega hook on one side and remove the weasel-head-shaped end cap. This allows you to easily thread a pendant of your choice onto the necklace.
