Hand-forged coat hook in the shape of a trilobite. The trilobite is an icon among paleontologists, much like the considerably larger T-Rex. This small Paleozoic gentleman is hand-forged in a blacksmith’s workshop in Prague’s Radotín district, quite literally within sight of places where its ancient companions might once have crossed paths with fossil collectors.
In this area worked the famous French paleontologist Joachim Barrande, who would most likely have appreciated this hook. No need to extract this trilobite from stone—you can hang it straight on the wall. And who knows, he might even have hung his hat on it after a long day in the quarry.
