A set of original playing cards for Mariáš and Prší. These card games, typical of the pub culture of Bohemia and Moravia, are inspired for example by the Schafkopf cards popular in Bavaria. Their design resembles old Austro-Hungarian patterns. Even foreigners can quickly learn the rules of the game.
The motifs on these cards are inspired by the era of the Hussite Wars.
The cards feature motifs of Hussite Táborites, Orebites, Hussites in general, and their enemies among the Catholic crusaders.
Each motif carries a deeper meaning; some are based on Gothic illustrations from medieval codices, while others present an artistic interpretation of the Hussites from later periods, such as the Baroque era.
