Mug with Hussite chalice motif. The chalice is an iconic reminder of what Jan Hus left behind in the Czech lands since the Middle Ages. He was burnt at the stake in Constance, Germany, for his truth. His followers, arms in hand and chalice on shields and banners, took the fate of Central Europe into their own hands, and so began the Hussite Revolution. It was here that Jan Žižka, the most famous warrior of the 15th century, became famous. Raise a toast to the greats of Czech history!
The mug was made in South Bohemia, in the heart of the Hussite movement.
