These cubes are so beautiful that we should write this description in Quenya. This language was a symbol of the high status of the elves, the Firstborn of Middle-earth. Quenya was their sublime language, a kind of "Elvish Latin", and its gradual disappearance symbolized the decline of Elvish culture in Tolkien's world.
