The forged hammer of Thor called Mjölnir.

The end of the handle is forged into an eyelet, allowing this forged pendant to be worn around the neck with the included leather cord.

Wrought iron pendants in the shape of a hammer were already widespread and popular in Viking times as amulets symbolizing the Norse god Thor. By wearing the hammer, the wearer expressed that as a pagan he was distancing himself from the spreading Christianity.

Thor's hammer was also called Mjölnir, meaning "crusher" or "lightning", because it was the magical war hammer of the Norse god Thor, with which he fought giants and the Midgard serpent at the end of the world.

The birth of Thor's hammer Mjölnir is one of the most famous stories of Norse mythology. According to legend, the hammer was forged by the skilled dwarves Brokkr and Sindri as a result of a bet with the god Loki, who deliberately tried to disrupt their work during the forging process. Despite his wiles, one of the Gods' most powerful weapons was created, albeit with a slightly shorter handle than originally intended.

Mjölnir became an inherent symbol of the strength, protection and power of the God Thor, protector of men and Gods alike from chaos and enemies. The hammer always returned to Thor's hand and was associated with thunder, lightning and the destructive power of nature. For the Vikings , it had deep meaning - it represented not only protection in battle, but also security, faith and a connection to their Gods. To this day, Thor's hammer is seen as a powerful symbol of courage, tradition and Nordic identity.
