Hungarian Military Saber
This Hungarian infantry saber has a blade of tempered, unsharpened EN9 high carbon steel. The blade is etched with the inscription “Ne bantsd a magyart!”, which translates to “Do not harm the Hungarian!” – a patriotic motto that appeared on Hungarian weapons in the 19th century.
The hilt is made of steel, while the grip is covered in hardened black leather and decorated with twisted copper wire.
The scabbard is also made of steel, featuring integrated steel suspension rings for wearing on a belt.
