Leather notebook with a Hussite chalice in a rich red colour, inspired by medieval Bohemia and the Hussite tradition.
At the centre of the front cover, a Hussite chalice is embossed into the leather, one of the best-known symbols of the Hussite movement. The design is complemented by medieval ornaments in the corners.
The chalice became a symbol of the Hussite movement and communion under both kinds – the reception of both bread and wine by the laity during the Eucharist. During the Hussite Wars, the chalice also became a distinctive emblem of the Hussite armies and remains one of the best-known symbols of 15th-century Bohemian history.
The notebook contains 100 pages of cream-coloured book paper with a weight of 90 gsm. The paper is slightly heavier, pleasant to the touch and suitable for both writing and drawing. Its higher weight gives the notebook a more substantial feel and helps it retain its shape.
