Reconstruction of a medieval scissor chair made of wood and leather.
The use of scissor or folding chairs dates back to the Romans, but they were also very popular in the Middle Ages - and still are today. It's not hard to guess why: lightweight and economical, the chairs are easy to carry and yet very comfortable.
This chair can even be completely disassembled, as all the wooden joints are connected by removable wooden pins.
These chairs are simply brilliant and are great for markets, camp or a rustic home.
