This large Roman coin pendant with an owl motif is made of lead-free pewter. The owl comes on a silver chain. The pendant is mounted on a folding information card, which has an image of a gold coin on the front and the head of Medusa, complete with a key ornament on the sides. The reverse side describes that ornate Roman jewellery was initially rare and was influenced by other cultures.
