High-quality materials and craftsmanship
The blade is made of hardened spring steel (54SiCr6, ČSN 14260), hand-ground, and polished. The handle is wrapped in hand-stitched 1 mm thick cowhide leather. The core of the sword's grip is wooden. The guard is blacksmith-forged while hot, then ground and polished.
Full-Tang construction
In swords manufactured using this method, the blade extends in one piece through the handle into the pommel, where the tang is peened at the surface. The pommel features a trapezoidal hole, just like original historical finds, adding significant value to this sword. This eliminates the need for non-historical brass welding and additional heat treatment. This method of production ensures uniform and excellent properties along the entire length of the blade.
