- QUIVER - textile, ca. 1300 - 1530 AD
The reconstruction of the quiver was inspired by 15th century sketches and archaeological finds from the English warship Mary Rose (sunk 1547). This simple quiver design is directly documented for the 15th and 16th centuries, but due to its simplicity it is undoubtedly much older.
A quiver of this design may even still be used for Scottish archers who appeared in the 17th century (!) in the fighting of the Thirty Years War.
