This Scimitar was specifically designed for use in belly dance and combines the typical appearance of an oriental sabre with the requirements of an impressive dance performance. At the same time, it is suitable for reenactment, historical presentations and oriental-inspired performances.

The term Scimitar refers to a group of predominantly curved sabres historically associated with the Middle East, North Africa and parts of Asia. The characteristic curved blade is one of the typical features of traditional oriental sabres.
