This unique piece of jewellery with garnets and moldavite is a fine example of Czech jewellery craftsmanship, created by experienced goldsmiths in the Turnov region – an area with a rich and centuries-old tradition of jewellery making.
The dominant element of the jewellery is moldavite – a rare gemstone formed approximately 15 million years ago as a result of a meteorite impact. This natural green glass, also known as vltavín, is prized for its unique green colour, ranging from light olive to deep emerald green. Moldavites are renowned for their transparency, delicate structure and high lustre, making them highly sought-after gemstones around the world.
