This replica of the British 1897 Infantry Officer’s Sword features a blade forged from tempered 1055 high carbon steel. The blade is richly engraved on both sides with decorative filigree and royal military motifs.
The hilt is made of steel, while the grip is wooden, wrapped in faux rayskin and tightly bound with braided steel wire.
It comes with a polished steel scabbard with suspension rings, designed to be worn with the uniform.
This sword remains the official issue weapon of the British Army to this day and has a long service history—from the late 19th-century colonial wars through both World Wars.
