Freya, wooden carved statue.
Freya, the Lady of Vanir, is the Goddess of love, beauty, magic and the untamed power of life. In Norse myths, she acts as a teacher of seidr, the art of looking into fate and influencing its flow. Her tears turn to gold and her falcon cloak allows her to cross the borders of worlds. Freya is also the commander of half of the fallen warriors she receives in her hall Sessrúmnir in Folkvangr. In the Asatrú tradition, she is seen as a powerful protector, a bearer of passion and deep wisdom. This hand-carved statue depicts her in her calm, dignified strength - as a goddess who watches over love and courage.
