Gothic boots with a distinctive tulip-shaped toe are typical footwear of the late Middle Ages. This type of shoe was especially widespread in the 14th and 15th centuries and is characterized by a slightly elongated toe reflecting the Gothic sense of silhouette. The boots were worn by townspeople as well as members of higher social classes and formed an integral part of historical attire.
