A replica of a Great Moravian ladies' jewel found in Staré Město near Uherské Hradiště. The original find dates back to the 9th century. Cast granulation and filigree. The stone is vltavin, a magical stone that was formed when a meteorite fell on the territory of Germany. The deposits of vltavin are mostly in Bohemia.
The lunette is typically a female jewellery symbol (not only among Slavs, but also among Nordic peoples) and is supposed to ensure fertility, protection from diseases and a happy life. Their shape is based on the Luna (Moon).
