Vltavine is one of the rarest stones of Czech origin. It was formed approximately 15 million years ago by a huge meteorite in the area of present-day Bavaria, whose impact melted the rocks and scattered them to the territory of southern Bohemia. These solidified fragments of glassy material are known as vltavins.

Moldavite is considered a stone of transformation, energy and spiritual growth. Since the 19th century it has been attributed with strong protective and inspirational properties. It is worn as a talisman to help overcome difficult life changes, while reminding us of the connection between the earth and the universe. Its origin and appearance make it popular with collectors, jewellers and people who perceive the power of natural stones.

The picture is illustrative, each piece is an original and varies in shape and shade of green. The stone has an approximate weight of 0.6 g and is stored in a transparent box with a description of its origin. The surface bears a typical pitted structure, which was formed when the melt cooled rapidly after the meteorite impact. Vltavine comes from Czech deposits where it is mined in limited quantities and is a sought-after souvenir and collector's piece.
