Vltavine is one of the rarest stones of Czech origin. It was formed approximately 15 million years ago by a huge meteorite in the area of present-day Bavaria, whose impact melted the rocks and scattered them to the territory of southern Bohemia. These solidified fragments of glassy material are known as vltavins.
Moldavite is considered a stone of transformation, energy and spiritual growth. Since the 19th century it has been attributed with strong protective and inspirational properties. It is worn as a talisman to help overcome difficult life changes, while reminding us of the connection between the earth and the universe.
