Silver Earrings - Fern.
These earrings complement our pendant featuring a fern motif, set with Moldavite. They were designed by South Bohemian artist Kati and inspired by the nature of the forested Šumava Mountains (known as Gabreta in Celtic times). Deep forests with plenty of moisture are home to mosses, lichens, and ferns.
Fern holds a strong connection in mythology and symbolism to mystery, protection, and hidden knowledge. In Slavic tradition, it is associated with the legend of the “fern flower,” which is said to bloom on Midsummer night and bring luck, wealth, and the ability to understand hidden things. Fern is also a symbol of renewal and resilience, as it grows even in harsh conditions and unfolds in a spiral reminiscent of life cycles. In Celtic symbolism, it represents protection from evil forces and a connection to nature. It is often seen as a plant between worlds, linking the visible and invisible realms.
