This tooth (Tyrannosaurus rex) is made of resin and comes on a waxed string. The pendant is attached to a fold-out information card that explains basic information about theropods.

A group of dinosaurs called theropods were among the "killers" of the Mesozoic world. They were large, predatory and usually moved on hind limbs ending in claws. They also had hands with sharp claws, which they used to attack and hold their prey. Most had sharp, saw-like teeth suitable for tearing flesh and bone.

Carnosaurs were among the most famous theropods. They hunted live prey but also fed on carrion. The most famous member of this group was Tyrannosaurus rex, which reached a length of about 14 metres and weighed around 8 tonnes. Some of its teeth measured up to 18 centimetres.
