Inspired by the Viking art style, the Fenrirwolf head amulet is a symbol of strength, courage and unbridledness.
Fenrir, the mythical wolf from Norse mythology, was the son of the god Loki and the personification of the wild power of nature that cannot be harnessed. The motif of this pendant recalls the balance between strength and instinct that the Vikings revered in their lives and beliefs.
The amulet is hand cast in zinc alloy, silver plated and then hallmarked to accentuate the relief. The workmanship, with its fine spiral lines, follows the Viking ornaments in the Borre or Jelling style. The dimensions of the pendant are 2,1 × 4 cm.
