The Jáchymov thaler is one of the most famous coins in Czech history.
It was first minted in 1520 in Jáchymov by the Šlik family and became the model for the later "dollar", the name of which comes directly from it. The coin depicts St. Jáchym with the family coat of arms and a Czech lion.
This replica faithfully captures the appearance of the original tolar from the reign of Louis Jagiellonian. The zinc coin with a dark patina looks authentic and can serve as a collector's piece, an accessory for reenactors or an educational tool. Every detail, from the inscription to the embossed figure of the saint, matches the historical original.
