Napoleonic French sword of heavy cavalry
This Napoleonic heavy cavalry sword is made of hardened, uncut EN9 high carbon steel. The hilt is made of brass and the handle is covered in leather with interwoven brass wire. The blade is engraved with a reproduction of the signature "Klingenthal" - the designation of the state armoury of the French Empire, which originally produced swords of this type.
It includes a scabbard with a wooden core, covered with black leather and complete with brass parts and hanging rings.
