Brooches
Our collection of brooches includes exemplary pieces of Czech costume jewelry, originating from Jablonec as well as from our own production. Each brooch is carefully handcrafted, often featuring artificial pearls, glass, or enamel. The production of costume jewelry in this part of Europe has a tradition of over a hundred years. A coat can be adorned by both young ladies and mature women, as these Art Nouveau and other designs are timeless.
The history of costume jewelry production in the Jablonec region is deeply rooted in tradition, dating back to the mid-19th century. This area became one of the most important centers for costume jewelry production in Europe, where the manufacturing of glass beads and jewelry began to develop, achieving great success both domestically and internationally. Jablonec jewelry is known for its quality and original design, tailored to meet the demands of various fashion eras.
In the 1930s, jewelry production in Jablonec began to develop rapidly, and Jablonec nad Nisou became synonymous with costume jewelry manufacturing. Jewelry from this region became popular not only in Europe but also overseas, particularly due to its excellent quality and affordable price.
Jablonec craftsmen specialized in making costume jewelry from various materials such as glass, metals, wood, pearls, and later plastic, and excelled in handmade jewelry production. Techniques such as polishing, engraving, and stamping became an integral part of the manufacturing process. These methods resulted in necklaces, earrings, rings, brooches, and other jewelry pieces.
Today, costume jewelry production in Jablonec still maintains its traditions, combining modern technology with proven craftsmanship techniques. Our jewelry continues this rich tradition.
Thanks to this long history, Jablonec nad Nisou remains known as one of the main centers for jewelry production, where history and quality converge. Our jewelry, made in this region, is a symbol of highly valued craftsmanship that is part of the world heritage of Czech costume jewelry.
