Backpack features a unique lap belt system, which allows the operator to quickly jettison the bag, eg in emergency situations or enemy contact.  The backpack's hip belt remains after jettisoning, with all pouches attached to the base material (allows the operator to fight on with ammunition, radio communications, personal medkit etc.).
The system does not utilise mechanically complex components and maintains a high overall reliability.  Its simplicity allows for quick refitting the rucksack to the waist belt in a very short time.
The TL 98 is designed for very long patrol duration, and is adapted to accommodate dishes, tent rods etc which make it also practical for normal camping use.  

Durable back construction.

2 separate pockets in the lid are accessible from the outside.  

Photoluminescent tape ( "cat's eyes") - removable.

Adjustable straps with upper stabilizing descenders

Chest strap and hip belt with a universal coupling for fixing squirts or other material.  

Material: ripstop Cordura with newly printed straps in vz.95.

Molle/PALs compatible.
