A replica of a Great Moravian ladies' jewel found in Staré Město near Uherské Hradiště. Granulation and filigree are cast. The original find dates back to the 9th century. The lunette is a typical women's jewellery symbol (not only among the Slavs, but also among the Nordic peoples) and is supposed to ensure fertility, protection from diseases and a happy life. Their shape is based on the Moon.
