LUNULA Great Moravian Empire Golden Plated Pendant, replica of an old Slavic jewel known as Lunitsa (also Lunula or Luneta). The original was found near Stare Mesto, Czech Republic, 9th century CE, the Great Moravian Empire (first state of western Slavs). A delicate feminine symbol enjoyed by Roman, Slavic and Viking women. It is considered a symbol of fertility, good luck and a happy life.
