Shekel - Tetradrachm, an artistic tin replica of an ancient coin. The coin is very sculptural with high relief, especially on the portrait side. AVERZ bears the image of an eagle treading on a Phoenician ship and the Greek inscription - Tyrus, holy and untouchable. REVERZ - depiction of the god Melkart / Heracles. The coin has an irregular edge and the individual pieces differ slightly from each other, each minted separately, by hand. J
These shekels were struck at the mint of Tyre. Judas is said to have received "30 silver shekels" for his betrayal.
