Bronze reproduction of a very famous figure of a Bull from the Bull's Cave, near Adamov village (Moravian Karst - Byci skala, Czech Republic). Size: 2.8 x 2.9 cm.
The cave system was explored during 1867-1873 by archaeologist Jindřich Wankel. He discovered a Paleolithic settlement from around 100,000 - 10,000 BCE. Later a Hallstatt Age figure of a bronze bull was found. The site contained also animal and human, textiles, ceramic and sheet-metal vessels, jewels, glass and amber beads.
